I am happily a Ponder!

If I’m inspired to draw/sketch you something, it will be about this. I’d put it on a tee shirt too! But first! I got to print my THEM CATS ones. :)

Tess, I welcome you as a Ponder with both arms!

I love your inspired ideas--and putting it on a t-shirt, wow! (giggle, giggle)

You have THEM CATS drawings? I'd love to see them. It sounds like the coolest thing! And I LOVE cats!

Lily, I feel a kind of full-circle joy reading your update—like watching a garden bloom after the first true rain. Thank you for your generous shoutout and for stepping into #PrideOnThePage with so much presence and heart. I cherish your voice in this space, and your companionship too.

What you’ve shared here holds so many layers of aliveness—from brushstroke to protest sign, from soil to story, from queerness whispered to queerness lived. And yes, I want to say it again: this is about being Proud and showing Pride, and that’s a year-long unfolding. It's not confined to June or to those of us who carry the label queer. It's an invitation for anyone daring to grow toward what once felt too far.

Your garden, your art, your resistance, your voice—they are all part of this blooming. I will keep reading, keep witnessing, and keep responding to everyone’s #PrideOnThePage offerings across the seasons. This isn’t a campaign. It’s a way of life.

With steady gratitude and vibrant solidarity—

Jay 🌱🖋️✨

A heartfelt gratitude for your generosity and deep insights, Jay. I am one seed, but this tiny seed is so ever so glad to have found the garden where it belongs. I very much cherish your companionship, too, and appreciate how you steadfastly shine a light for those of us who are on a similar journey to cross the deep canyons of our lives. I see how much heart and effort you have put into building this community of people committed in growth and healing.

I'm very much of the same view, that we don't have to be limited by labels such as "queer." It is a starting point, and from there we expand our lives to live out our potentials.

In solidarity with you,

Lily 🌱💕🙌

Hi Louisa, I’m happy to see you reach deep inside and find your true self both in painting and joining a community you feel comfortable in. The flowers and leaves look great, I’ll have to learn more about this style of painting. Enjoy your garden too, it must be a lot of joy to see flowers, veggies coming ot of what you planted.

Also I loved your Melting Pot sign, very nice indeed.

Hi Seval, thank you for being happy for me! It's wonderful to have found a community I feel comfortable in, and most important of all, to have found my true self.

I know you'd appreciate the sight of homegrown flowers and veggies. They are very delicate. Wish there was a "chute" I could send them to you directly, like, "beam them up!" 😆

It's a great joy to work plant real flowers and to paint them. The chinoiserie style started several hundred years ago as a prized export from China to Europe, and later, it came to the U.S. There's still a family business that sells antique Chinese wallpapers of this style. It's in Manhattan and the name is Gracie. If you look up Gracie chinoiserie wallpaper, you should be able to see some marvelous images!

What a wonderful update! I rejoiced in it all. Your return to heath, your beautiful garden, the verdant result of your hard work & care, your exquisite art, your vigorous protests for democracy and your newfound identity as queer in which you feel so comfortable and at home. So much blooming for you, little bud! Keep turning towards the sun. She’s smiling at you 💗☀️

Hi Amy, I love your imagery of the little bud turning toward the sun. It's such a natural thing to do, isn't it? Just turning to the sun, which I'm doing as much as I can. You always come up with the most precise and beautiful words to describe things, and I appreciate holding your words in my heart. Here's wishing you a gentle return to health as well, and many moments of sunshine and moonshine for you to turn to. 💗🌻🌞
