Dear Ponders,

I was waiting for the right moment to write to you again. What I meant by the “right” moment was that, I’ve been sick with pneumonia, and was planning to write when I’ve fully recovered. It’s been over two weeks now, with a delay in treatment thanks to a misdiagnosis at the ER. I’m still suffering from fatigue and painful symptoms. But at least I no longer run a daily fever.

But I’m done waiting. I feel the urge to write today, because I just can’t hold it in anymore. And no, it’s not about the misdiagnosis or my physical suffering. It’s about a tsunami that happened at my company and the injustice of it all.

Due to the sensitive nature of this story and its potential impact on my livelihood, this article is behind the paywall. Thank you for your understanding. I appreciate your support if you have chosen to become a paid subscriber. Your subscription helps make it possible for me to continue writing about the inconvenient truth and, who knows, might help me keep the lights on should I lose my job.
